How to Add a Domain or Subdomain in cPanel

To add a new domain or subdomain to your hosting plan using cPanel, follow these steps:

Login to cPanel

  1. Go to Login to Client Area:
  2. Click on Services in the sidebar or top menu.
  3. Under My Services, click your hosting package.
  4. On the left sidebar, click Login to cPanel.

To Add a Domain

  1. Inside cPanel, go to Domains or search for Addon Domains.
  2. Click Create a New Domain.
  3. Manually enter the domain name you want to add (e.g., example.com). You must type the full domain name.
  4. Choose whether to create a new directory or use an existing one for the document root.
  5. Click Submit or Create.

To Add a Subdomain

  1. Inside cPanel, search for and click Subdomains.
  2. Enter the subdomain you want (e.g., blog if you want blog.example.com).
  3. Manually enter the domain it should be attached to.
  4. Choose the document root (the folder where its files will go).
  5. Click Create.
